We’re very pleased to announce that the Finance & Leasing Association (FLA) have successfully gone live with their new re-branded website and members portal delivered by the oomi digital services team.
The FLA is the UK’s leading trade body for the asset, consumer, and motor finance sectors, promoting sustainable finance through expert insights, regulatory advocacy, and ethical practices. Its diverse membership spans major banks, independent lenders, and a wide range of financial institutions and other related industries who support or promote the asset, motor and consumer finance sectors. Members have access to a wealth of resources, guidance and support, including exclusive data, training programs, and networking events that help them stay competitive and informed.
The FLA has been an oomi customer since 2022 after implementing the oomi CRM as its core membership management system. When looking to improve its digital presence, the FLA data turned to oomi, recognising the importance of integrated systems and the benefits of a single-supplier approach to maintaining data integrity between the CRM and web content management system.
“As well as rejuvenating the FLA brand, we needed the new website and portal to automate workflow and processes for both staff and members to improve the overall member experience and satisfaction,” explained Naseem Hanif, Operations Coordinator at the FLA. “We also wanted to have more control over the website content and have the ability to be more dynamic with content.”
The oomi digital services teams, led by Farshad Vahdat, worked closely with the FLA’s dedicated website project team, holding weekly meetings to discuss progress and identify risks and blockers. oomi provided a branding and design refresh, and implemented WordPress as the web content management system and our own members portal solution to serve members.
Naseem is delighted with the outcome: “The project has delivered what we needed – automated processes through integration. We now have the ability to keep-up-to date in an instant. Our staff are able to see the potential of what is possible. which is helping to generate new ideas. And we are already seeing a significant increase in web registrations, event enquiries and sign-ups.”
