We’re proud to announce that we have recently renewed our Cyber Essentials certification for another 12 months.
The certification gives reassurance to our customers that we are working to secure our IT against cyber attack, and gives a clear picture of our cyber security level.
The Cyber Essentials scheme, backed by the UK Government, requires organisations to regularly review their cyber security standards every year. Although not mandatory, the scheme is designed for organisations working in data management or information security to enable them to tackle the threat of cybercrime and data breaches.
To achieve the certification, a qualified assessor verified the information we provided.covering the requirements across five key security controls: firewalls, secure configuration, security update management, user access control and malware protection.
Georgie Howard, Director of Operations at oomi, commented: “As a key provider of CRM software and web solutions to the membership sector, it is important that we apply and demonstrate best practise within data and information security. I’d like to thank our operations team for their exceptional dedication and hard work in completing the assessment.”
