We’re proud to report on the successful debut of the oomi football team and its participation at the Corporate Football Tournament, organised by Business Fives, a renowned corporate sports management company.
On 26th November 2023, oomi joined other dynamic companies at Shepherd’s Bush, London, for a day filled with camaraderie and spirited competition. The tournament brought together professionals from various industries, creating an environment where networking seamlessly blended with the joy of playing football. It also helped others, with 10% of our tournament fees going to Retina UK, the charity supporting people affected by inherited sight loss.
The day provided a great opportunity for our staff members to showcase their teamwork skills, enhance fitness, and foster stronger connections. Our team, aptly named oomi FC, displayed exemplary sportsmanship and team spirit throughout the tournament, helping them to reach the quarter finals. From strategic passes to enthusiastic celebrations, our players showcased not only their football skills but also the collaborative ethos that defines oomi’s workplace culture.
While the tournament was a celebration of friendly competition, it was also a victory for team building at oomi. The connections forged on the field translate into stronger collaboration within the workplace, ultimately contributing to a more cohesive and motivated team.
