The Role

As Project Manager you will work to develop project plans and regularly coordinate with other Project Managers, Consultants and delivery teams to deliver successful projects.

Working alongside other project managers, you will be a key driving force behind the successful delivery of our software solutions to clients. You will help oversee multiple projects with oomi and be responsible for ensuring these are delivered on time and in budget in accordance to  the customer requirements or specifications.

You will analyse the scope of each project, highlight risks and assumptions, assign responsibilities and ownership, , define project objectives & critical success factors, devise a delivery schedule, inform all relevant parties and monitor/ensure project delivery.

You will ensure all relevant issues are communicated appropriately, progress reports produced as requested & a pro-active containment / resolution plan devised.

Throughout your journey with oomi you will look at ways to improve the project delivery cycle and work with the Project Delivery Team and PMO to ensure these are put into place and record success.

Responsibilities

As Project Manager, you will:

  • Act as the liaison between the client and the delivery team
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Creating and delivering project plans using the project planning software provided and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure the project remains on track and on budget
  • Highlight any risks that might occur within the project and plan how to mitigate these.
  • Working with Sales and Development to transfer project scope and objectives into a clear delivery plan.
  • Conducting project meetings to communicate individual roles, project expectations, and ensuring that all project team members and clients are aware of responsibilities.
  • Gathering and documenting project results and reporting to key stakeholders
  • Ensure proactive communication and resolution of an issues or delays
  • Schedule project-related meeting/calls

Qualifications

You will need to have:

  • Passion for delivering high-quality client solutions.
  • 3+ years’ experience in project management or a similar role.
  • Qualification in PRINCE2 Project Management/Governance
  • Experience in managing software delivery projects.
  • Knowledge of scrum artifacts and events
  • Knowledge and experience of the Membership and not-for-profit sector are a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM and CMS systems, or a willingness to quickly address any knowledge gaps.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills, be it verbal, written, or presented.
  • Genuine enjoyment of delivering complex software solutions.
  • Integrity, sound judgement, and good business sense.
  • Organisational and good time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The ability to build relationships quickly and effectively.
