The International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) has recently selected oomi™ to provide membership systems and support to help them achieve their strategic objectives.
FIGO is the world’s largest alliance of national societies of obstetrics and gynaecology dedicated to the health and wellbeing of women, girls and newborns. It has more than 130 national member societies across five regions, and pursues its mission with advocacy, programmatic activities, capacity strengthening of Member Societies, education, and training.
FIGO identified the need for a more customisable CRM, to better support and underpin their new strategic plan, to facilitate member engagement, expand partnerships, and develop FIGO HQ capabilities to ensure the right support is in place for success.
Key objectives for the oomi project are to facilitate collaborative and efficient workflows across the organisation, among staff and also with those in volunteer roles such as Trustees, and committee members. The project will also help FIGO further strengthen its offer to its member societies, with tailored member journeys, and improved engagement and e-learning.
“It is essential that the system is straightforward to use, and accessible across the organisation,” said Rob Hucker, Head of Communications, Engagement and Events at FIGO. “We recognised that oomi demonstrated the capability to provide such a system, and importantly had the team and expertise to deliver it.”
oomi will be providing the core membership management CRM with specific modules to support events, finance and committees. The project will include key integrations to other business systems, to deliver improvements in data storage, editing and analysis and provide a ‘single version of the truth’. Integrations will include Thinkific e-learning, the Exchequer finance solution, and, later, web integration and a member portal, to enable data updates to be easily shared across the organisation and website.
Hucker continues: “We are excited to be working on this project with oomi. Having the right systems in place will ensure that we can deliver on our objectives; provide timely, relevant and accurate support to our members and stakeholders around the world; and fully realise our potential as ‘The Global Voice for Women’s Health’.”
Joel Trotman, Sales Director at oomi, comments: “We welcome FIGO. They have recognised that reliable, agile and integrated back-office and member-facing systems are essential for an organisation to be able to focus on their core activities. We look forward to building a lasting partnership with them to ensure their objectives are met.”
