We’re delighted to announce that the Society for Endocrinology (www.endocrinology.org) has recently gone live with their new oomi membership CRM.
The Society, whose work centres on bringing together the endocrine community, providing support for scientists, doctors, nurses and associated professionals working in the field of hormones, selected oomi to replace their old and not fit-for-purpose legacy system in 2023, and they are already seeing the benefits of the change.
Sarah Don-Bramah, Strategic Projects Manager at the Society, explains: “The oomi team have worked in partnership with us throughout and, even with a reduced timeframe, enabled us to turn off our legacy system on time. They continue to work with us collaboratively to bed in the new system and realise the benefits of our investment.”
“The oomi team … continue to work with us collaboratively to bed in the new system and realise the benefits of our investment.”
The Society had several objectives for the new CRM. It wanted to reduce the manual nature of membership processing and streamline its activities. It needed agility and the ability to respond more quickly to member needs, with changes to services that will impact positively on membership numbers and income.
“We’ve seen real improvements in data security and accuracy with much easier to access data for teams across the organisation. The new system is bringing us significant savings in time and resource required for new member processing.”
Most importantly, the new oomi solution increases the Society’s ability to undertake strategic planning and development of its membership product.
“We now have a more rounded view of our member’s engagement with us, with significantly better reporting and visibility. This will help us provide our members with an experience that meets their expectations and enable us to increase their engagement with the Society,” added Don-Bramah. “This is just the start of a more strategic marketing programme to enhance recruitment, the number of re-joiners and increase our renewal rate.”
Joel Trotman, Director of Sale at oomi, said: “It has been great working with Sarah and her team at the Society. It is this collaborative approach that we are proud of at oomi and work hard to get right. It ensures membership organisations like the Society, truly benefit from their technology investment. We look forward to a long and beneficial partnership with them.”
